I joined our correspondents Jo and Paul Volta on the very beautiful island of Tasmania and I asked them to do an advert for Tasmania for our listeners around the world who might want to visit the island! They did a good job! Great wine just for starters! Beautiful scenery, not as hot as the mainland, and oh so many more reasons to visit Tassie! They are also a band called The Sign (thesign.com) and we feature an appropriate song of theirs at the end, “Warpigs”. You get the jist!

Ronan Segrave is our North American Correspondent and drops in from Winnipeg, Canada to talk about the latest devastating circumstances in Ukraine. Ronan’s brother Brian (who lives in Texas) has flown with his wife to the border of Poland and Ukraine to help people who have fled Ukraine cross onto safer pastures. What a fantastic thing to do.
